My Story
My name is Ramesh Muthukumarana. I am a seasoned Instructional Designer who has a wealth of experience in course design and development for fully online universities. We create courses from the ground up to fully functional courses without any help of published textbooks.
With the help of qualified faculty members, we curate Open Educational Recourses (OER) from various resources and use them to build online college courses.
I have experience in various Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Blackboard, Moodle, Sakai. I am full proficient in using all Blackboard front end tools as well as content management and HTML manipulations.
I also use industry standard authoring software such as Articulate Storyline all versions, Adobe Captivate (all versions), ZebraZapps. My portfolio will feature a few complete courses and number of learning objects created using Storyline and Captivate.
I have also worked with corporate clients in the past, where I created various learning solutions for their employees.
In addition to my full-time job, I am interested in accepting short term and long term freelance projects.
I have a Master of Science in Instructional Technology from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Marketing and Minor in Mass Communications from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
I was fortunate to win the Blackboard Exemplary Course Award for three consecutive years (2018, 2019, and 2020).
Currently, I live in Little Rock, AR, with my wife, Indee.
