What People Say About Me

“I worked with Ramesh Muthukumarana throughout the development of several distance learning courses. These courses require a high level of student engagement and interaction to facilitate student success. For these courses, we were able to collaborate to design many unique assignments and learning tools to accomplish this. Ramesh provided a tremendous amount of technical knowledge and design skills to enhance each of the courses throughout the design process.

Due to his diligence, students in these courses will have the tools needed to promote their success. As an example of excellence, Ramesh and I were ultimately awarded an Exemplary Course Award from Blackboard Inc. in 2018 for our Medical Terminology Course.”

I began working with Ramesh in 2015, creating the course Intro to Public Health Principles and Practices. This was my first design of a distance learning course, and I wasn’t sure what I was getting into. The process was enjoyable and made much easier with Ramesh’s design expertise and tech-savvy skills. I would talk through ideas with him, and he would make them happen! Ramesh was very insightful into how we could make the class the best it could be, thinking of ways to improve student-to-instructor and student-to-student interaction. He steadily came up with ideas of how to make the course more visually appealing and user-friendly, all while enhance learning.

We went on to develop two additional courses and revamp one: Healthcare in Diverse Populations, Quality Management and Outcomes Assessment, and Intro to Healthcare Systems. Thanks to Ramesh, we were able to bring home two Exemplary Course Awards from Blackboard Inc., for Intro to Public Health and Healthcare in Diverse Populations. Ramesh has been a pleasure to work with!

“Creating an academic course that educates and inspires mid-career professionals can be a complicated endeavor, especially when all interactions between those students and the instructor take place in an internet-based learning environment. As I developed a graduate-level leadership course for an Executive Master of Public Service program, I relied heavily on Ramesh Muthukumarana’s technical expertise and web design skills. His knowledge of the Blackboard virtual learning environment and management system aided my efforts to build a curriculum that was both informative and visually appealing. Ramesh’s patience, professionalism, and persistence were assets. He worked tirelessly to ensure the overall success of my class. The education landscape is evolving and now, thanks to guidance and support from Ramesh, I have the tools and resources I need to improve learning outcomes for students all over world.”
