Gender Analysis Matrix (GAM)

About the Project

This learning object was created to supplement a Healthcare in Diverse Population course. In the lesson, the students will learn about Gender Analysis Matrix (GAM). The application is an example of how the students can use the GAM to explore some of the reasons behind gender differences in health. It`s an interactive table. When students click on each number to reveal information relating to malaria, which you just read about in the previous document. Information regarding malaria is placed appropriately in each of the corresponding cells of the GAM, describing the gender-related and health-related considerations.
